Ugly Sweater Contest

Curtis had an ugly sweater contest at his work... He didn't win :( But he totally should have! My awesome Nana helped him make this. He came into my work to show me and I about died. Everyone kept asking him if the lights turn on... He got annoyed rather fast lol

November 2011- Colorado Reception

We had the reception in Provo but I have SO many friends and family in Colorado...we decided to do one up there too! It was so much fun! We had a snow cone machine, Ice cream machine, Candy table and of course a cup cake table!

It was a lot of fun to see everyone. We are so blessed with all our great friends and family in this life. Our presents were so much fun! And we had such a blast seeing everyone...well I did! Curtis had a blast meeting everyone! Poor kid, he didn't really know anyone haha. But the food was amazing and it was just a party! Thanks to Mama and Kaylene for helping decorate and making it perfect!!

Our awesome Photographer had a great idea! She passed around this chalk board and have everyone write something for the bride and groom! It was so much fun to see all of the messages!

My sweet baby brother was SO sick that night. He was looking forward to the event all week and once it came he was feeling yucky! He wrote a message too. Once we got the pictures back we were back in Utah... and once I saw that one and just cried my eyes out!!

Isn't that the sweetest thing on this PLANET?! Oh my. I love you Andrew Porter Hadfield. More than you will ever know! This kid rocks my world. I still look at this picture and get teary eyed!! Oh I just love him.

It was just a super fun night and I hope everyone who came enjoyed it as well! :)

Wedding Bells 10.08.11

October 8th was the best day of our life! Why you ask? Simply because I married my bestest best friend in the whole world.

We got married at 12:20 PM October 8th, 2011 at the Salt Lake Temple. 

I had a list of things I needed to grab and get done that morning. I was in charge of most of the things to bring because my Curtis is a very forgetful person! I put him in charge of just one thing...the marriage license... I nagged him the whole week before...Don't forget the marriage license!! So that morning I grab everything I needed...we head off to the temple and I said please tell me you didn't forget it... Then he pulled it out and I had a sigh of relief! I thought we were doing great, so we go up to check in and the temple patron asks for our temple recommend.... *GASP!* I FORGOT THEM ON MY DESK AT HOME! Yep...! I am awesome... So Curtis of course starts teasing me like crazy and I felt so STUPID! But we were able to get ahold of our bishop and take care of things...He still to this day wont let me live that down. Ha.

The temple ceremony was beautiful and all of our close friends and family were there. My sweet papa came up to me afterwords to tell me how proud he was...then he started to tear up..then I did!! I was a mess for a little while. I love my daddy so much :)

We went back to the dressing room to get ready to go outside. I was trying to hurry hurry hurry because I didn't want to leave Curtis waiting. So we got me all ready then rushed out to meet Curtis..and he wasn't there. He was STILL getting ready!! Haha. I had a good laugh. So 5 more mins go by and then my sweet new husband came down the hall. I had the biggest smile I think I have ever had! I love that boy with all my heart. My heart started beating so fast and I got major goose bumps (he tends to do that to me a LOT!) So our parents go outside where everyone else was waiting for us. We wait a minute...I give him a big kiss and a hug and said "Lets do this!" I grabbed his hand and rushed out the door. And our first picture shows it all!

We had a 50's themed wedding. Because I am obsessed with that era!!!

I had to have the short dress! And My groomsmen wore suspenders and my bridesmaids wore bright pink polka dot skirts! hehe. I loved it. I am glad I can look back at my pictures and be satisfied :)

I am glad I found a guy who was okay with a pink wedding! When he told his mom that those were the colors I wanted she said.

"Are you sure you are man enough to have a pink wedding?"

and the he said...

"Mom, am I man enough to tell her no?"

hahaha! What a good sport he is!

I love my sweet husband. He is so good to me and is always there for me. October 8th 2011 was the best day of my life. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with him.
